Apr 29, 2014 · While My Whole World Ended is a near-concept album in its depictions of hurt and loss, Ruffin’s expressive vocal work brightens the often downbeat lyrics. His reading of “Everlasting Love” is arguably the best-ever version. Feelin’ Good is, as its title suggests, a bit more hopeful, and is very nearly as good.
Feelin' Good is the second solo album from former Temptations member David Ruffin. Released only six month after his solo debut My Whole World Ended (the #1 R&B hit), this album climbed to #9 on the R&B Charts. The CD kicks off with the title track of the first album, “My Whole World Ended,” which was released first as a single. The song was a hit, reaching #31 on the pop chart, and #1 on the R&B chart. It’s an excellent tune, with a good groove and a powerful, soulful vocal performance by David Ruffin.

Oct 26, 2016 · David Ruffin’s second solo album, Feelin’ Good, was released in November 1969, 6 months after the first album, My Whole World Ended. Feelin’ Good has some serious gems in it, but at times it also feels hastily slapped together to leverage the fans’ desire to see a Ruffin / Temptations reunion.
