May 3, 2022 · The late husband of well-known Jamaican broadcaster and playwright Barbara Gloudon, Ancile passed away at hospital on Saturday aged 89. He had been reported to have been suffering with reduced oxygen levels. Gloudon is survived by his 87-year-old wife, daughters Lisa and Anya, son Jason, and two grandchildren.

May 2, 2022 · The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church community has been plunged into mourning with the passing of stalwart Ancile Gloudon. Gloudon, 89, passed away on Saturday. He was taken to hospital after experiencing low oxygen levels.

Ancile Gloudon was born on 13 April 1933 in Trinidad and Tobago. He was an actor, known for Piranha II: The Spawning (1982), Wide Sargasso Sea (1993) and Passion & Paradise: Part 2 (1989). He was married to Barbara Gloudon. He died on 30 April 2022 in Gordon Town, Jamaica.
