May 17, 2021 · A beautiful love story comes to life in Darius Rucker’s just-released “My Masterpiece” music video. The black and white clip follows a couple’s encounter on the beach. As the romantic lyrics unfold, the lovers make their way around the stunning oceanside scene soaking up all of their precious time together.
Written by Rucker together with Josh Osborne, J.T. Harding and Ross Copperman, “My Masterpiece” offers a swaying melody and lyrics that prize true love over all else. “The song is about a guy who really just wants to be known for the tremendous amount of love he has for this woman, and I think that’s beautiful,” shares Rucker.
