After forming hard-rock/metal bands Cactus (1970) and Beck, Bogert & Appice (1972) the Vanilla Fudge founder members Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice reunited the band again which resulted in 'Mystery' (with Jeff Beck, who guested under the moniker J. Toad).
