Flora Amussen Benson (July 1, 1901 – August 14, 1992) was the wife of Ezra Taft Benson, the 13th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and mother of Reed Benson, political activist.

Flora Smith Amussen Benson was the wife of Ezra Taft Benson, thirteenth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Flora was born on July 1, 1901, in Logan, Utah. Her father, Carl Christian Amussen was a Danish jeweler, watchmaker, dentist, and businessman.
In Ezra Taft Benson, Flora found a young man who had begun to accumulate the spiritual riches she valued so much. And as she must have expected, the roots of his spiritual strength went deep into the soil of his family’s farm.
