DeWitt Clinton High School is a public high school located since 1929 in The Bronx, New York. Opened in 1897 in Lower Manhattan as an all-boys school, it maintained that status for 86 years. In 1983, it became co-ed.

Originally named Boys High School of Manhattan, the school was renamed in 1900 to honor New York City Mayor and New York State Governor DeWitt Clinton, who had begun the city's public school system in 1804. Clinton remained all boys until 1983.
