Jun 10, 2020 · Patrick Malcolm “Pat” Dunlop began his career writing for radio, before moving to BBC Television as a staff writer. His early work included episodes of Dixon Of Dock Green and United!; he was also the story editor of Dr Finlay's Casebook.
Pat Dunlop was then hired to write a full set of teleplays from Pedler's idea, but quit after becoming busy with other work, and the teleplays were subsequently done by Ian Stuart Black, who had also written the previous serial, The Savages.
