Massacre are truly a hidden gem in the experimental rock genre; originally formed with Henry Cow guitarist Fred Frith in the 80s, Massacre mixed elements of the No Wave scene with the free improv that characterized Frith's output. After Killing Time, Massacre disbanded until 1998, when This Heat drummer Charles Hayward joined the power trio.
