Paul William Mayhew-Archer MBE (born 6 January 1953) is a British writer, producer, script editor and actor for the BBC. He is best known as the co-writer of The Vicar of Dibley and Esio Trot alongside Richard Curtis. His solo writing career includes My Hero and Office Gossip, which he created.

Paul Mayhew-Archer is a multi-award winning writer, script editor, radio producer and comedian; perhaps best known for his work on the much-loved comedy ‘The Vicar of Dibley’. Since his Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2011, Paul has turned his talents towards raising awareness of the condition while doing what he does best – making people laugh.
