Pierce Brendan Brosnan OBE (born 16 May 1953) is an Irish [a] actor and film producer. He was the fifth actor to play the fictional secret agent James Bond in the James Bond film series, starring in four films from 1995 to 2002 ( GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day) and in multiple video games .
Brosnan is most famous for starring in the TV series Remington Steele (1982) as the title character, as well as portraying famous movie character James Bond in GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Die Another Day (2002).
