Erika Lippoldt is a writer and producer who worked on the first three seasons of Star Trek: Discovery.
Lippoldt worked on the first season as an executive story editor, the second season as co-producer, and the third season as supervising producer. She and her writing partner, Bo Yeon Kim, wrote four episodes and one episode of Star Trek: Short Treks.
In January 2019, Kim and Lippoldt were announced as future showrunners for a planned Section 31 series, starring Michelle Yeoh. However, this series plan was abandoned and the project was reworked as the streaming film Star Trek: Section 31, without Kim and Lippoldt.
Prior to Discovery, she (alongside Kim) was a story editor on the television series Reign between 2015 and 2017, for which she also wrote two episodes.
