Theodore Anthony Nugent ( / ˈnuːdʒɪnt /; born December 13, 1948) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and political activist. [1] [2] He goes by several nicknames, including Uncle Ted, The Nuge, and Motor City Madman.
