Anam's first feature documentary as a Director, "This Stained Dawn", supported by the Canada Arts Council in 2020, follows the feminist activists who organise the "Aurat March" in Pakistan. It premiered in International Competition at the 2021 Sheffield Doc Fest and has won awards at Toronto Reel Asian, Women’s Voices Now and PAME Nepal.
