    I saw Jitney at London’s Old Vic and Oklahoma! at the Young Vic and really enjoyed them both. I’m also enjoying two BBC podcasts – one about Putin and one about J Edgar Hoover – as well as James Graham’s Sherwood on TV. And it is a bit of a guilty pleasure, but I really enjoyed the new Top Gunmovie, too.

    I’d love to see some kind of magic solution that allowed theatre to keep up with streaming platforms in the eyes of the acting profession. I wish it was as attractive to appear on stage as it is to appear in the next series of Stranger Things.
