Eugene Wilfred Jayewardene, KC (Sinhala:යුජින් විල්ෆ්රඩ් ජයවර්ධන; 11 June 1874 – 23 November 1932) was a Ceylonese judge, lawyer and politician. He was a Judge of the Supreme Court of Ceylon and is the father of J. R. Jayewardene the first executive President of Sri Lanka.
His sons Hector Alfred, Eugene Wilfred (EW), and John Adrian St. Valentine entered the legal profession and the latter two serving as judges of the Supreme Court of Ceylon, while Theodore Godfrey became an engineer and soldier.
Junius Richard Jayewardene was born 17-9-1906 to the lawyer and later Chief Justice Eugene Wilfred Jayewardene and his wife Agnes Helen. The eldest of eleven children, he as educated at Royal College, Colombo.
