William Gay (born January 1, 1985) is an American football coach and former cornerback who is the assistant defensive backs coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisville before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft .
