Assonitis is getting back in the game, greenlighting a series of new features including a new sequel to his own 1974 cult horror film Beyond the Door.
Ovidio Assonitis is a prolific producer and director who created such horror delights as the infamous Beyond the Door (1974), the all-star underwater terror flick Tentacles (1977), the giallo-slasher hybrid Madhouse (1981), the sci-fi tinged chiller The Visitor (1979), as well as the early James Cameron effort Pirahna II: The Spawning (1981).
