Charles William Fries (September 30, 1928 – April 22, 2021) was an American film and television producer who worked on many TV series, made-for-TV movies, and theatrical films. The Cincinnati, Ohio-born Fries moved to Los Angeles in 1952 and began working for the production and syndication company Ziv Television Programs.
During Fries' tenure Fries Entertainment produced over 125 motion pictures and accumulated a library of 400 films which it distributed worldwide in all media. He is currently President and chief operating officer of Fries Film Group, Inc. ("FFG") a production / distribution company founded in June 1994.
