The Warsaw Documentary Film Studio (Wytwornia Filmow Dokumentalnych in Polish) is a Polish film production company. Founded in 1949 as a unit of the film monopoly Film Polski, the institution has operated as both school and producer for Poland's leading documentary filmmakers.

In 1941, in German-occupied Warsaw, soon after the creation of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto by the Nazis, a Polish amateur 8mm camera enthusiast shot a remarkable 10-minute film from both sides of the Ghetto walls.

About the Documentary. At the end of WWII, 60 minutes of raw film was discovered intact in an East German archive. Shot by the Nazis in Warsaw in May 1942, and labeled simply “Das Ghetto,”...
His short documentary film "Our Curse" (2013) has garnered numerous awards at film festivals worldwide, received a nomination for the International Documentary Association (IDA) Award, and was nominated for an Oscar in 2015. A graduate of film directing at the Warsaw Film School, he completed the Feature Program at the Wajda School.
