English National Ballet School is a specialist classical ballet school based in London in the United Kingdom. The School was founded in 1988 by Peter Schaufuss as the official school of English National Ballet. The School's current artistic director is Viviana Durante.
English National Ballet School is a talent-led organisation, that transforms talented young dancers into world-class performers over a three year programme validated by Trinity College, London. Each year 300 young dancers audition for one of thirty places in the first year.
English National School strives for diversity and wants to ensure that talented young dancers worldwide have the opportunity to train with us regardless of their financial circumstances. Every year the school provides some financial assistance bursaries and scholarships.
