In 1996 Endemol bought the American Holiday on Ice, a year later the company entered into a joint venture with Dodger Theatrical and formed Dodger Endemol Theatricals. The joint venture created several musicals and also established a theater complex in New York's Hell's Kitchen named New World Stages ( Dodger Stages at opening) in 2004.
