Toshirō Ide (井手 俊郎, Ide Toshirō, 11 April 1910 – 3 July 1988) was a Japanese screenwriter for both film and television.
Toshirô Ide was born on 11 April 1910 in Japan. He was a writer and producer, known for Salary man Mejiro Sanpei: Teishu no tameiki no maki (1960), Double Trouble (1963) and Ikiteiru Koheiji (1957). He died on 3 July 1988 in Japan.

Isao and Masako Toshiro are what looks like a happily married middle-class couple with two children. One day, Sayuri, wife of close friend Ryukichi Sugimoto, is found strangled. As it turns out, Sayuri had an affair with another man.
Co-scenarist Toshirō Ide noted in an article that this was the first time that a divorce was accepted as a film's conclusion, other than proposed similar endings of past collaborations by Ide and Naruse like Repast, Wife and A Wife's Heart, which had been changed by the producers.
