Snakebite is the first official release by the British hard rock band Whitesnake. The original EP initially featured only four tracks and was released in the UK in June 1978 and never published in the US.
This first record is in fact an assemblage. If the first 4 tracks are indeed the band's first production, the next 4 are taken from Coverdale's solo discography and date from 1977. Produced by Roger Glover, they were recorded with different musicians, apart from the faithful Micky Moody.
Mar 20, 2013 · Side two of the LP had the earlier Northwinds material, produced by ex-Purple bassist Roger Glover. Although Mickey Moody plays on these songs, he’s the only future Whitesnake member present. The tunes are decent enough.
