Count Five reunited in April 1987 when they performed a concert at One Step Beyond nightclub in Santa Clara, California. This was released as Psychotic Reunion LIVE!. Legacy "Psychotic Reaction" was included on the 1972 compilation album Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965–1968.

Due to unrelenting interest, the Count Five–all original members–in 1986, reformed for their high school’s 20th anniversary reunion. An album, Psychotic Reunion: Count Five Live!, soon after was cut and issued in 1993.
There is also a live CD called Psychotic Reunion Live. This features 14 live tracks recorded on April 11th 1987, during a reunion concert in San Jose.
