Peter Doherty (born 12 March 1979) is an English musician, songwriter, actor, poet, writer and artist. He is best known for being co-frontman of The Libertines, which he formed with Carl Barât in 1997. His other musical projects are indie bands Babyshambles and Peter Doherty and the Puta Madres.

Peter Dougherty. Peter Dougherty (1955–2015) was the creator of the show Yo! MTV Raps, and played a formative role in shaping the early activity on MTV. [1] He was a 1977 graduate of Ithaca College. [2] He directed the music video for The Pogues song "The Fairy Tale of New York".
