T.H.T.K. (2010 – Present) is an archive of photographs and photo ephemera deemed by public participants as ‘too hard to keep’ and too painful to destroy. Submissions may include photographs, slides, photo albums, memory cards, unprocessed film, or any image-charged object.
S.L.R.A.I.I. will be commissioned to create a permanent site-specific installation indicating sea level rise projections for the Pike School of Art facility, to debut in 2024. 2022-2024: Independently, Jason Lazarus will extend his residency to allow time to research the history of protests in McComb.
All images courtesy Jason Lazerus. Studio-style portraits with a patina and palette that shines of decades past; ill-framed candid group photos; and unfocussed 4 x 6 snapshots of unremarkable landscapes, dreary skyscapes and abstract seascapes.
Overview. Jason was appointed Senior Counsel in 2019, having been called to the Bar in 2004, after spending a year as the associate to the Hon Justice John Lehane of the Federal Court, and then practising as a solicitor for 5 years in a leading law firm.
