Provision is the third studio album by the British pop band Scritti Politti, released in the UK on 6 June 1988 by Virgin Records. The album was the band's second top ten hit in the UK, peaking at No. 8 on the UK Albums Chart, and was certified Gold by the BPI for 100,000 copies sold.

The personnel for Cupid and Psyche 85 differed from that of their first album, and featured keyboardist David Gamson and ex-Material drummer Fred Maher, both of whom would collaborate with Gartside on songwriting and production duties.

Three years later, Gartside, Gamson and Maher finished Provision, another meticulous studio exercise that takes a lighthanded approach to bouncy pop soul. Loads of backing singers do their best not to upstage Gartside’s wispy voice, but the cushiony cloak of suavely boring, repetitive material is all it takes to thwart his reedy efforts.
