One of the more unexpected comeback hard rock bands of the 2020's: Daughtry, of all things. Although it's quite debatable whether they ever were hard rock--although there usually were 1 or 2 semi-heavier songs per album, most of the first three albums were simply Howard Benson pop rock with a hint of post-grunge (still very enjoyable, but very much a product of their time).
