Henry Plitt was born on November 26, 1918, and entered Staunton Military Academy (SMA) from New York City in the fall of 1932 as a sophomore. He graduated from SMA as a Bugler Sergeant in 1935 and was a U.S. Army Intelligence Officer and a hero of WW-II.
