May 21, 2024 · Valentia Island is one of the westernmost points of Ireland and is just off the Iveragh Peninsula on the southwest coast of County Kerry. Specifically, it is just off the Portmagee village, which is connected via a bridge. It makes a great detour from the more popular Ring of Kerry, and I would say, a must if you have time.
