Nov 21, 2006 · In Pedro Almodovar's enchanting, gentle, transgressive "Volver," a deceased matriarch named Irene ( Carmen Maura) has moved in with her sister Paula (Chus Lampleave), who is growing senile and appreciates some help around the house, especially with the baking.
Paula's father Paco (Antonio De La Torre) attempts to sexually assault her, claiming that he is not really her father, and Paula stabs him in self-defense. Raimunda hides the corpse in the deep-freezer of a nearby restaurant with an absent owner, Emilio (Carlos Blanco).
