In this updated adaptation of Ronald Searles' cartoons about the humorously terrifying fictional school, straight-laced Annabelle (Talulah Riley) is being forced to attend St. Trinian's because it's run by her batty aunt Camilla (Rupert Everett in drag).
St Trinian's represents the unacceptable face of British education. When the Minister of Education announces he will sort the place out he doesn't realize the enormity of the task. The school is also threatened with closure by their bank; the girls realize the responsibility to save the day falls on them.
