Dagmar Manzel (born 1 September 1958) is a German actress. She has appeared in more than 80 films and television shows since 1979. She starred in the 1986 film So Many Dreams, which was entered into the 37th Berlin International Film Festival. The daughter of teachers Paul and Annemarie, Manzel grew up in East Berlin.

Dagmar Manzel was born September 1, 1958, in Berlin-Friedrichshagen. After finishing school, she took actor's training at Berliner Schauspielerschule from 1977 to 1980. In her sophomore year, Thomas Langhoff gave her the role of Marthe Schwertlein in a student production of Goethe's "Urfaust".
