My research interests include how obesity and other lifestyle factors (such as engagement in physical activity) affect cognition in middle-aged and older adults. I am also interested in methods to improve student performance in the classroom and advance the teaching of gerontology in higher education.
Andrew Fiscella, PhD successfully defended his dissertation, “The Influence of Obesity and Lifestyle Factors on Cognition in Middle-aged and Older Adults,” last Friday. Fiscella’s committee chair was Troy Quast, PhD, and his co-major professors were Ross Andel, PhD and Hongdao Meng, MD, MPH, PhD.
