Biography. Albert Salmi served in the United States Army before studying Method acting with Lee Strasberg. Following a stint on stage, including a role in "Bus Stop" on Broadway, his film debut came in 1958 alongside Yul Brynner and William Shatner in "The Brothers Karamazov."
