Alexander Jonathan Lawther (born 4 May 1995) is an English actor, writer, and director. He made his professional acting debut originating the role of John Blakemore in Sir David Hare 's South Downs in the West End.
Alex Lawther is a British actor, director and writer, best known for playing young Alan Turing in The Imitation Game. He has also starred in TV shows such as The End of the F***ing World, Black Mirror and Andor, and voiced characters in animated series such as The Owl House and Summer Camp Island.
