Daphne Rubin-Vega (née Vega; born November 18, 1969) is an American actress, dancer, and singer-songwriter. She is best known for originating the roles of Mimi Marquez in the 1996 premiere of the Broadway musical Rent and Lucy in the 2007 premiere of the Off-Broadway play Jack Goes Boating .
Daphne Rubin-Vega was born on 18 November 1968 in Panama City, Panama. She is an actress and producer, known for Wild Things (1998), In the Heights (2021) and Sex and the City (2008). She has been married to Tommy Costanzo since September 2002.
