It's a Living
1980
John Herzog's professional career began while he was still a student at Hollywood High School. His first paying gig ($4 a performance) was as a supernumerary (an extra) for the world-renowned Old Vic Company from England in Romeo and Juliet at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. He pretended to play a recorder and was onstage alone for a full thirty seconds before the stars insisted on getting on with the rest of the play. imdb.com
