Werner Klemperer (March 22, 1920 – December 6, 2000) was an American actor. He was known for playing Colonel Wilhelm Klink on the CBS television sitcom Hogan's Heroes, for which he twice won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards in 1968 and 1969.
Werner Klemperer was a versatile actor who played Col. Wilhelm Klink in Hogan's Heroes and Emil Hahn in Judgment at Nuremberg. He was also a musical conductor, a violinist, and a narrator.
