Actorul, regizorul si scenaristul Tudor Petruț s-a născut in București, la 01 decembrie 1963. Este nepotul marelui actor Emanoil Petruț. A învățat la liceul de matematica-fizică Mihai Viteazul din București si a absolvit in 1990 Facultatea de Regie la Universitatea de Teatru și Film I. L. Caragiale din București.
