Big and small screen star recognized for his roles in Sinister 2, Dorian Blues, J. Edgar, and countless other films. He has also had recurring roles in Queen Sugar, Millennial Parents, and Making Moves.
One of his first screen acting roles was in the 1999 short film Out of Courage 2: Out for Vengeance.
In 2013, he provided several songs for the soundtrack of the film Saving Lincoln. He also acted in the film as Ward Hill Lamon.

Personal Life. Lea Coco was born in Louisiana, his grandfather and father owned a cotton gin until hard times forced the family to move to Mississippi. His father is a machinist and his mother is a secretary. Lea is a natural thespian and spent a lot of time acting on the stage before he got behind the lens. [6]
LEA COCO is thrilled to be making his debut at Steppenwolf. His past theatre work has been seen at such theatres as The Public (New York Shakespeare Festival), Utah Shakespearean Festival, Pittsburgh's City Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival, Pittsburgh's Quantum Theatre, The Immediate Theatre of New York and Blue Man Group as a Blue Man (NY).
