俳優として. 文学座 研究所を経て、一般の映画としては 1980年 、『 ヒポクラテスたち 』でデビュー。 以後、 テレビドラマ 、 映画 を中心に活動、地道に芸能活動を続ける。 1982.1.8日活ロマンポルノ「美姉妹犯す」アルバイト.清、80年代は 刑事ドラマ などで 悪役 、犯人役を演じることが多かった（ あぶない刑事 など多数出演）が、 1991年 10月に『 ホテルウーマン 』（ 関西テレビ ）に同郷出身の 沢口靖子 演ずるホテル従業員の上司として出演し、 1992年 10月開始の『 ウーマンドリーム 』（関西テレビ）に 裕木奈江 演ずるアイドル歌手の事務所のマネージャー役を演じた。
