Oct 7, 2011 · Cilento was awarded a Queensland Greats Award in 2001 in recognition of her status as a National Treasure. Her autobiography, My Nine Lives, was published in 2006.
The following year, she earned a nomination for the Tony Award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for her performance in the play ‘Tiger at the Gates’ wherein Cilento had portrayed the legendary character Helen of Troy.
