Oliver Griffen Johnston (30 April 1888 – 22 December 1966) was an English actor. After training at RADA, his theatre work included the original production of The Barretts of Wimpole Street at Malvern (1930) and its subsequent West End transfer (1930-1932).

He was one of Disney's Nine Old Men, and the last surviving at the time of his death from natural causes. [1] [2] [3] He was recognized by The Walt Disney Company with its Disney Legend Award in 1989.
Oliver Johnston's fingerprints are all over some of the most beloved films of the 20th century. As the last survivor of Walt Disney's famous animation team, dubbed “Nine Old Men,” Johnston brought Bambi and Thumper to life.

Oliver Johnston, 18, hit a spur while attempting the High Noon run – one of the highest and steepest ski slopes in the country – at Thredbo ski resort on Sunday. This caused the Killara teen to lose control and crash into trees. He died from his injuries soon afterwards after being taken to a nearby medical centre.
