Andrew R. Wheeler (born December 23, 1964 [citation needed]) is an American attorney who served as the 15th administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from 2019 to 2021. He served as the deputy administrator from April to July 2018, [2] and served as the acting administrator from July 2018 to February 2019.
Andrew Wheeler, who worked as a deputy EPA administrator and a Senate aide, replaces Scott Pruitt, who resigned amid scandals. Wheeler is expected to continue Trump's agenda of rolling back environmental regulations and withdrawing from the Paris climate accord.
