Tenniel Evans. A dependable character actor in a variety of genres, Evans was a stalwart of television drama and sitcom over many years, from The Avengers (1961-68) to Z-Cars (1963-72), Doctor Who (1973) to The Two of Us (1987-90). He was also a regular cast member of radio favourite The Navy Lark.
