Christopher Charles Wood [1] (born April 14, 1988 [2]) is an American actor. He is known for his role as Kai Parker in the sixth season of the CW 's television series The Vampire Diaries in 2014, after previously appearing on The CW's The Carrie Diaries in the role of writer Adam Weaver in 2013.
His first leading role in a series came in the limited event series, Containment (2016), where he played an Atlanta-based cop trapped in the quarantine zone of a dangerous viral outbreak. Wood then joined the comic-book series Supergirl (2015) for a two season arc, portraying the superhero 'Mon-el'.
