In 1988 he debuted as a comedian in the show directed by Serena Dandini, L'araba fenice, starting a close artistic partnership with the show host (Scusate l'interruzione, 1990; Avanzi, 1991-93; Tunnel, 1994; Pippo Chennedy show, Maddeché ahò!, 1997; Ottavo nano, 2001).
