  6. George Metaxa died in Monro, Louisiana on December 8 1950, aged just 51. My thanks to Living Era for once again producing excellent transfers of these old 78rpm recordings. I do highly recommend this and honestly say I enjoyed every one of the songs Georges Metaxa sings.
