Pierre François MARTIN-LAVAL est né à Marseille en 1968 et est le fils de Denis MARTIN-LAVAL, médecin à bord de la Calypso du Commandant COUSTEAU. En 1996, pour sa mise en scène de la pièce "Robin des Bois, d'à peu près Alexandre Dumas", il crée la troupe comique "les Robins des Bois" avec notamment Marina FOIS et Jean Paul ROUVE.
